Netflix scored a nostalgic hit with its first season of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, thanks in part to some pitch-perfect casting. That includes Sarah Michelle Gellar aptly channeling an updated version of Teela, who served as the animated series' hero even more than He-Man. The upcoming sequel series -- Masters of the Universe: Revolution -- has already announced a big change in the role. Gellar is stepping away, to be replaced by Supergirl star Melissa Benoist. The new Teela actor clearly has the chops to handle the role, but Benoist's presence could mean something quietly special for the new animated series.
