The Justice Society of America has always been associated with World War II and the Golden Age American propaganda inherent in most pulp fiction during the 1940s. This has been used to create numerous spoofs or meta-narratives within the Justice Society’s plethora of stories that have ranged from insightful to more of a comedic parody of the period.
