On October 10, 2023, it was announced that the newest episodes of Young Jedi Adventures, a Star Wars series aimed primarily at younger audiences, would feature fan-favorite characters from the High Republic series of novels in their on-screen debuts. The first episode, “Charhound Chase,” will feature protagonist Kai Brightstar teaming up with Master Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan Bell Zettifar after their beloved charhound Ember goes missing. The second will have the central younglings pay a visit to the iconic Starlight Beacon, where they’ll cross paths with Estala Maru, the Jedi in charge.
