DC Comics is home to many of the greatest superheroes in the comic book industry and has led the way in genre versatility and risky storytelling. One of the things DC is most famous for is its many superheroes' "Death of" stories, most notably that of the demise of Superman at the hands of Doomsday. In the years since even the company's greatest heroes have occasionally met their doom at the hands of evil.
