Developer Tarock Interactive has announced Lost Legions, a new open-world survival crafting game for PC for up to four players that, according to Tarock, is "set after the true events of the Varian disaster in a hand-crafted world inspired by the German region of Teutoburg Forest." It's due out in the first half of 2025.
In the game's brutal times, you'll traverse multiple biomes including frigid mountains and dense forests while facing down barbarian tribes and very large animals who aren't thrilled you're on their turf. You'll need to craft tools, build camps, and fight to survive in your quest to recover Rome's three lost banners of the fallen Legions. Check out the announcement trailer above and the first few exclusive screenshots in the gallery below.
You'll also recruit and train new Legionnaires and embark on a "captivating narrative," according to Tarock. Wishlist it on Steam if you're interested.
