Throughout Doom Patrol's entire run, a major aspect of the action-comedy has been about reality-bending. It was apparent in the very first season with Alan Tudyk's Mr. Nobody trying to break the heroes mentally. Since then, the heroes got sent through space and time and to various realities. Luckily, they managed to recover from these various adventures, only for Doom Patrol Season 4 to unleash Immortus.
