Throughout the course of its original run, the Ultimate Universe was home to some of the darkest and most twisted versions of classic Marvel characters ever introduced. Not only did it put new spins on iconic characters, it rewrote many of their origin stories. Although this didn't necessarily change the core aspects of the characters in question, it did create plenty of new ties among them, including Ultimate Daredevil and his tragic successor.
