Dungeons & Dragons is a game and a recreational activity. However, it's also a social event that requires a lot of buy-in and cooperation from everyone present. There is a lot of etiquette involved in many games of D&D Fifth Edition. Although most of it comes down to common social sense, well-meaning people can still fall afoul of it.
