For years, it's been a major question whether Netflix's Marvel shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and others fall within the grand scope of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). When Charlie Cox made his MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he initially said his Matt Murdock would be a new version. Then She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo hit Disney+ with Cox wearing a similar suit to the one in the Netflix series. In 2022, even Cox didn't know where Netflix's Daredevil fell within the MCU canon.
