Jacen Syndulla played a surprisingly prominent role in Ahsoka, as a child destined for an intriguing future. He was able to sense Ahsoka's duel with Anakin in the World Between Worlds and yearned to become a Jedi later in life. His Force sensitivity and wisdom for his age help him stand out from other characters in the show. Jacen is also unique in another way: he is half-Twi'lek and half-human since he was conceived by the human Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla. Jacen is therefore one of very few "hybrids" in Star Wars — beings created from the union of two different sentient species.
