Prime Day 2024 has seen more Variety than Kellogs, and I'm here for it! While everyone's budget only stretches so far, it's good to take a bite out of those sweet deals before they shoot back tomorrow.
I'll keep this introduction short, but I wanted to take a few minutes to share some of my favourite deals from Prime Day 2024. Hopefully, I'll sort one or two of you with some bargains before Prime Day 2024 ends:
Prime Day 2024: ASUS ROG Ally
I've had over six months with my Z1 Extreme ROG Ally now, and it's a multi-purpose beast! I wanted something that I could play my Steam Library with alongside Epic, GOG, and Game Pass games natively without faffing about working around SteamDecks Linux-based OS.
The beautiful 1080p bright screen, buttons and armoury crate tick all my boxes, alongside plenty of ways to expand storage and charge on the go with its USB-C port. Like every PC Gaming Handheld, it could be better, such as the temperamental SD Card slot, but there are ways of getting around it. For under £500, this is, in my opinion, the best gaming handheld for your money.
Prime Day 2024: Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer
I bought one of these thinking my wife had wanted one for the original RRP of £250. To cut a long story short she didn't want one, and I got awesome food; everyone's a winner. In all seriousness, this Ninja Dual Air Fryer is a cut above the rest and each function does its job, from baking to max crisp, and isn't a pain to use. It's currently £90 off, so don't sleep on this one. Seriously, please don't; it will burn your face.
Prime Day 2024: Fikwot M.2 SSD 4TB NVMe SSD M2 2280 PCIe Gen4
4TB worth of M.2 NVMe for just over £170 is ridiculously worth the money. Granted, it only clocks up to 5000MB/s read and 4500MB/s write, but that's still bloody fast and more than enough for the most demanding games to play nice with. It also comes with a hinksink already fitted, so this would make for an easy install inside a PS5 or any desktop PC. Save now (more Dad jokes to follow).
Prime Day 2024: LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Model Set
I should have to explain why this is a nessessary purchase. Just go buy it, build it, have fun and may the Schwartz be with you.
Prime Day 2024: ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G ProArt OC Graphics Card
This deal has changed slightly to when I first posted this at the start of Prime Day 2024, but the RTX 4070 Super is not to be snuffed at for just over £550. Not that you'll likely need to with this bad boy in your arsenal, but the RTX 4000 line takes advantage of DLSS 3.0, which helps all users get more frames and better performance out of their rig. This is a nice bargain made by ASUS, so buyers should have confidence in buying a solid graphics card here.
