Shown most famously in 2008's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Mortal Kombat has had a long history of crossing over with characters from DC Comics. NetherRealm Studios has also developed the Injustice series of DC fighting games, and several of their Mortal Kombat characters have appeared in them as DLC. DC characters have also appeared in Mortal Kombat games, with Peacemaker set to appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1.
