Superhero movies and TV shows based on DC characters usually draw from the comic books to a strong degree, as this is what the bulk of their stories are based on. In some cases, however, heroes and villains are radically changed from the source material, for better or worse. This can even impact who they end up having romantic relationships with when their stories end.
