Transformers was one of many major franchises in the 1980s, but it wasn't the only one. Beyond other properties involving giant robots, the '80s in general, were filled with lines that jumped from toy aisles to the silver screen. Strangely enough, some new Transformers figures are being used to pay homage to these forgotten diamonds in the rough.
