2024 will be the 50th anniversary of Wolverine's debut, and Marvel is kicking off the celebration early with January containing a month-long variant cover series called WOLVERINE WOLVERINE WOLVERINE, where the Canadian mutant hero will star on homage variant covers to a number of iconic Marvel covers from different characters, like an issue of Amazing Spider-Man will have Wolverine standing in for Spidey on an homage cover, an issue of Captain America will have Wolverine standing in for Cap, etc (obviously, not all titles will have a cover specific to that character, though, like a Doctor Strange issue might have a Ghost Rider homage cover, for instance. The only constant is that Wolverine is on all of them).
