Of all the trilogies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, none have focused on relationships nearly as much as the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Each entry, as well as their side appearances, helped to flesh out the personalities of each member and how they grew close to one another. Some of the best examples include Drax and Mantis, Star-Lord and Gamora and Rocket and Groot. But the latter has one of the more intriguing as their history evolved depending on the Groot that Rocket was traveling the galaxy with. In fact, the least explored version of Groot had an incredibly unique meeting with Rocket.
