Magic: the Gathering's various products are aimed at a wide variety of players, competitive and casual alike, and are usually priced accordingly. Premium products such as collector's booster boxes always cost more in return for fancy and rare cards, while other products, such as Commander precon decks, are meant to make the casual Commander format more accessible and affordable. Problems arise, however, when Wizards of the Coast blends premium and casual products.
