One of the things many fans don't associate A24 with is franchising. Of course, it's understandable given people assume the studio prefers the indie or overly-artistic route where films are meant to be one-and-done. However, A24 has done a sequel for The Souvenir, and a horror trilogy with X, Pearl and MaXXXine.
