Superman has always been known as the Last Son of Krypton in the comics and on the big screen. He survived Krypton's destruction and became a hero on Earth, though he operated for years out of his Fortress of Solitude. However, Kal-El and his multiversal/future variants eventually found love and started their own families over the years.
