Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer is about the titular J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who led the creation of the atomic bomb during World War II. It's also a return to familiar ideas for Nolan, who's previously done films in the World War II era and movies that challenge the audience's perceptions. Most notably, it bears similarities to Nolan's breakout hit Memento.
