The X-Men are in their biggest boom period in decades. Since 2019's House of X/Powers of X, by Jonathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, R.B. Silva, Marte Gracia, and Clayton Cowles, the X-Men have been ascendant. Moving them to their own mutant nation on Krakoa, the living mutant island, completely changed the game for the team. Since then, the X-Men have become Marvel's premiere comic book franchise again.
