It’s June, which means a new batch of LEGO sets is available for one and all. This happens to be a stacked month for LEGO fans, with new sets ranging from The Simpsons to Bluey to Disney to Fortnite. There’s a lot of ground to cover this month, so let’s get right down to it.

LEGO Ideas Disney Pixar Luxo Jr. Lamp

It’s the Pixar lamp that appears before every Pixar movie! And you can build it! That’s the elevator pitch for this set, and I gotta say, it’s enough to sell me on it. If ever a lamp was iconic, this is it. And now you can build it.

The Simpsons: Krusty Burger Is Available Now (for Insiders)

It’s been a bunch of years since LEGO’s last Simpsons release. But it’s back in fast-food style with this new Krusty Burger set. It includes the full restaurant, complete with a giant sign, plus the Simpsons’ car and seven minifigures. Check out our interview with LEGO The Simpsons Krusty Burger’s designer and keep an eye out for a “We Build” of this set.

New LEGO Book Nooks Are Available

The book nook is a new concept for LEGO. These sets are designed to be placed on a bookshelf, either between books or to act as bookends. The sets fold up into a compact space, but they can also be unfolded to show an impressive tableau of whatever they’re about. You may also note that each of the sets is based on a property that started out as a series of books. Interesting.

New LEGO Fortnite Sets

Fortnite fans have a handful of new LEGO Fortnite sets to peek at. The Klombo set is my favorite of the bunch, but who doesn’t love Peely or Durrr Burger? They’re all good.

New LEGO Disney Sets

Some excellent new LEGO Disney sets are also available this month. The best of the bunch, IMO, is the 101 Dalmatians Puppy, which is pretty big at 1,722 pieces and also incredibly adorable. Just look at that little tongue poking out. I mean, come on. The Angel set from Lilo & Stitch is also cute.

New LEGO Harry Potter Sets

I haven’t tallied them up, but based on the deluge of new sets out this month, it’s safe to say Harry Potter is one of the most prolific licenses in all of LEGO. There are new LEGO Harry Potter sets here, there, and everywhere. No fewer than three stand out as particularly awesome this month. One is the Hogwarts Express book nook, which is designed to be used as bookends on your shelf. That’s such a cool idea. Another is the Main Tower of Hogwarts Castle, which is the latest part of a modular set that, once completed and combined, will be one of the biggest and certainly most expensive LEGO sets ever. Finally, we have the Chomping Monster Book of Monsters, which moves.

New LEGO Minecraft Sets

LEGO and Minecraft go together like peanut butter and chocolate. This month sees the release of four new LEGO Minecraft sets, including the Creeper.

New LEGO Star Wars Sets

It’s a relatively slow month for LEGO Star Wars sets, especially in the wake of last month, included the sacred holiday May the Fourth. But there’s a trio of new sets that are all reasonably priced – a rare thing indeed when it comes to licensed LEGO sets.

New LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth Sets

Perhaps the Jurassic World trilogy wasn’t so hot. But with Jurassic World Rebirth coming soon, the franchise has a new chance to grab onto the zeitgeist. And it helps that David Koepp, the writer of the original Jurassic Park movie (my personal favorite movie ever, for what it’s worth), wrote the script for this one. He even included the T-rex river escape, a scene from the Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park novel that didn’t make it into the first film.

Minifigure Vending Machine Is Out June 4

Here’s a fun one from the LEGO Ideas collection: it’s a vending machine that doesn’t dispense anything so prosaic as gum or candy. No, this one dispenses LEGO minifigures. And it actually works: You insert a LEGO coin, turn the knob, and you get one of 16 included minifigs.

More New Sets for June 2025

Here are some more sets that don’t fit into any particular buckets but look fun and noteworthy. In particular, I love many of the LEGO plants and flowers sets. They’re not flashy, but they look great on the shelf and you never have to water them. There’s a new one that’s particularly eye-catching, what with its bold fiery colors. Check out our We Build LEGO Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree feature to see how it all comes together.
