Peacock's Twisted Metal, based on the PlayStation videogame franchise of the same name, constructs a post-apocalyptic world brimming with violence and vehicular combat reminiscent of the game. The series may take a few too many pit stops along the way, but it still effectively provides an adrenaline-pumping joyride, all while addressing the exploitation of workers through its titular protagonists, played by Captain America himself, Anthony Mackie (John Doe) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz (Quiet).
