The Amazing Spider-Man movies have built up a respectable cult following. While the original film should be commended for its attempt to differentiate itself from past Spider-Man cinematic projects. Sadly, the sequel arguably undid a lot of that work. While Sony's obsession with building out a franchise might have ironically derailed the series, the performances throughout both films were phenomenal.
