HBO and showrunner Ryan Condal's House of the Dragon has succeeded in rekindling the thrill of the Game of Thrones TV franchise, and part of that acclaim comes down to its complex cast of characters. Like many fantasy series, especially one so politically driven, the prequel show features extensive family lineages, naturally focusing on the Targaryens and the Velaryons.
