Star Wars Rebels' Season 2 introduction of Darth Vader was a vast improvement on its previous depictions of the Empire. The Imperial threat was always a significant threat to the rebel Ghost Crew across the series' many episode arcs. That said, the series' first season struggled with its initial portrayal of the Galactic Empire.
