It's a good time to be a fan of Cyberpunk 2077. The recent release of the Phantom Liberty expansion has given a second life to the hit video game, and now the series is once again expanding into the comic book realm.
IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of Dark Horse's latest spinoff, a hyper-violent love story dubbed Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO #1. Get a closer look in the slideshow gallery below:
Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO is a four-issue limited series written by Bartosz Sztybor and illustrated by Jakub Rebelka, with letters by Frank Cvetkovic. Cover artists on the first issue include Rebelka, Fabrizio De Tommaso, Jeffrey Alan Love and Rion Chow. Here's the official description for the first issue:
Beneath the skin, flesh, and cyberware lies a beating heart--and only two things can stop a heart from beating: love and death. It's gang on gang violence as the Maelstroms target the Moxes for an ambush. Is a bloodbath underway or could this be love at first sight?
Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO #1 will be released on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The trade paperback collection is also available for preorder, with the release date slated for June 4, 2024.
