Transformers: Rise of the Beasts brings a few recognizable Maximals to the big screen, but it's now become most notable for setting up another franchise. The movie's ending introduces a new cinematic version of G.I. Joe, one which is seemingly separate from the previous three live-action films. Nevertheless, a pivotal scene in the climax may pave the way for a controversial device to be built for the Joes.
