Player Characters, or PCs, are often the first foray for most into the wonderful world of Dungeons & Dragons. Simply put, they are the characters that the players control, and roleplay as, in the game. They are how players enter the fabulous fantasy world and begin exploring. They are often vehicles for self-expression or experimentation through the wonder of roleplay.
