The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced many characters from the comics that are a far cry from the strength their comic counterparts had. Doctor Strange may be one of the bigger examples, as his powers in the comics reached major heights once he became Sorcerer Supreme, while the MCU version relies mainly on his wits. There's also Drax the Destroyer, who, in the comics, was created solely to kill Thanos and had the strength and power to do it. Meanwhile, in the MCU, he was an alien species who had lost his family, and while he vowed to kill Thanos, he lacked the immense strength to do so.
