The DC Extended Universe is set to receive a much needed theatrical reset in 2025, with the anticipated release of Superman: Legacy. While the DCEU will officially end with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in Dec. 2023, The Flash has seemingly set the stage for the newly rebooted DCU under Peter Saffron and James Gunn. Despite this, many fans have been expressing confusion over the logistics of the "broad but not blanket" reboot. This is largely due to the fact certain actors will be reprising their roles in the new universe with certain plot elements also carrying over, while most others will not.
