The Golden Age of Comics had several heroes, many of whom would go on to become major hits that continue to be popular to this day. Chief among these were Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Captain America, with the era also introducing the first versions of Green Lantern, The Flash, Human Torch, and others. Of course, not every character was a hit, as is currently being seen in the adventures of Peacemaker.
