Dell has just listed another brand new Alienware QD OLED gaming monitor. The Alienware AW2725QF 27" QD OLED gaming monitor is available right now for $899.99. This is the first ever OLED gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate. The AW2725QF is one of two QD OLED gaming monitors that Dell announced during CES 2024, the second being theAlienware AW3225QF, the world's first 32" 4K QD OLED gaming monitor.

The Alienware AW2725QF is a 27" monitor with a 2560x1440 resolution, 360Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification (it's very likely unofficially G-SYNC compatible as well). Quantum dot, or "QD", OLED panels are brighter than traditional OLED panels without losing the color accuracy and range and wide viewing angles that OLEDs are known for. The AW2725QF boasts a 99.3% DCI-P3 color range and is factory calibrated with a Delta E less than 2. It is HDR True Black 400 certified with up to 1,000nits of peak brightness. Connectivity wise, the AW2725QF has one HDMI 2.1 port that supports up to 4K@144Hz and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports that support the full 4K@360Hz. There are also a couple of USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for attaching peripherals and a single USB Type-C port for charging.
If you're looking for a 27" gaming monitor that combines near instantaneous response time, outstanding picture quality, and the highest refresh rate possible, then there's nothing out there that's better than the AW2725QF, at least on paper. This is the perfect monitor for games with a lot of fast action and dark scenes, like Call of Duty, Starfield, Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy, and more. If you want to play games at the full 360Hz refresh rate, you'll have to make sure your gaming PC is properly equipped with something like a GeForce RTX 4070/3080 at the minimum.
