Before venturing into spinoffs to create a vastly connected television universe, The Walking Dead was a leading IP figure in video games. The video game series by Telltale Games was among the most applauded and popular games of its time, and smartphone games let players live out their wildest fantasies as their favorite zombie killers. One game, though, that never quite hit its stride was The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, an origin story of the Dixon brothers right as the zombie outbreak hit.
