When it comes to big movie franchises, having a polarizing and even controversial sequel is unavoidable. Not all sequels will live up to audiences' expectations. Others will try to reinvent the wheel and be rejected for doing so. But just because these sequels weren't celebrated by fans doesn't mean they're bad movies.
