There is now an official Twilight Lego set and I am absolutely obsessed with all the little details.
The set is a replica of the Cullens’ chic, modern home. It includes seven minifigurines: Bella Swan, of course; Edward Cullen, with a special sparkle to him; Jacob Black, with long luscious hair; Charlie Swan and his decadent mustache; Dr. Carlisle Cullen, with a dapper blue tie; Alice Cullen and her cute bob; and Rosalie Hale in all her mid-2000s outfit glory.
But that’s not all. You can also build Jacob’s wolf form separately and Bella’s iconic red pickup truck. You can recreate Bella riding on Edward’s back and leaping through the trees! And the house itself has a bunch of specific little structures, like the grand piano where Edward broodily plays “Bella’s Lullaby.” (Peep the painting in the kitchen… is that bowl full of… eggs?)
The Twilight set was designed by Lego fan Nick Micheels for the Lego Ideas program. Designs submitted need a required 10,000 votes to be turned into real sets; the Twilight one received the designated 10,000 within 48 hours — one of the fastest submissions to hit that benchmark.
The set is available for pre-order today, going on sale on Feb. 4 for $219.99.
