Doctor Octopus has undeniably been one of the biggest threats that Spider-Man has ever encountered in his sixty year long career as a superhero. From the very beginning, Otto Octavius' near unmatched genius and endless cruelty have made him someone to take seriously, while his infamous stint in Peter Parker's body as the Superior Spider-Man cemented that reputation beyond any doubt. Unfortunately, that experience is one that Otto himself can't quite recall in its entirety, and the gaps in his memory prove just how wrong about himself Doc Ock has always been.
