Despite putting players directly in the middle of a true horrorshow, Resident Evil Village (RE8) is surprisingly generous about providing an arsenal for Ethan Winters. Although the game houses some pretty decent unlockable melee weapons, from durable knives to a literal lightsaber, the guns are — and have always been — the stars of the show.
