Just a few days before the much-anticipated arrival of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, there are unverified reports of new leaks of the game have that may have come from the son of a Rockstar employee.
As reported by Eurogamer, the leaks appear to have come from TikTok and claim to show a few seconds of GTA 6. GTABase.com, one of the more trusted accounts covering Rockstar games, has shared that, 'in a totally unexpected turn of events, it appears the 'leaked' footage has come from the son of a Rockstar Games employee."
The account continued on to say it has seen no evidence of Rockstar taking down the video, but the "evidence to suggest the video has come from someone related to the employee in question is fairly convincing."
Lastly, GTABase.com notes that it is "possible that the photo being used as evidence is not the son of the employee, or that the source of this leak is from a third-party attempting to pose as such."
Either way, now may be a good time to mute keywords like Grand Theft Auto 6 and GTA 6 on social media and be careful online as there is now a greater chance of being spoiled by things potentially surfacing online.
The official reveal of the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will happen on Tuesday, December 5 at 6am PT/9am ET.
