The biggest mystery on fans' minds after the Season 1 finale of Loki on Disney+ was what happened to the Time Variance Authority. Rather than the familiar statues of the Time-Keepers, a large effigy of He Who Remains stood in its place. This suggested to fans that Loki arrived back at a TVA that already changed because of the birth of the Marvel multiverse. The Season 2 premiere reveals this isn't actually what happened.
