After introducing Superman to the wide world of Japanese cuisine in the manga series Superman vs. Meshi, the creative team of Satoshi Miyagawa and Kai Kitago up the ante in the series' second volume. As the Man of Steel faces different kinds of pressure from all sides, he finds solace in the unique comfort food Japan provides and decides to introduce Lois Lane and his friends in the Justice League to the immersive dining experience. Through this, the heroes gain a greater appreciation for Japanese culture and find the inspiration to overcome the challenges they encounter back home.
