Blue Beetle is the newest cinematic DC hero, with his powerful alien Scarab granting him incredible powers and abilities. As shown in the movie, it takes a bit for Jaime Reyes to truly master these gifts, but when he does, he becomes an incredibly formidable hero. Thus, it's highly likely that he'd be able to defeat several other characters from the Marvel and DC Universes.
