While a part of Fall of X, Deniz Camp and Luna Maresca's Children of the Vault is less concerned with the X-Men's ongoing battle against Orchis, instead focusing on Bishop and Cable's struggle against a threat that's been brewing since the Krakoan Era began - the eponymous Children of the Vault. While familiar members of the villainous post-human race such as Serafina and Perro are involved in their newest scheme to take over the world, other members of the team leading this charge are less well-known. Among them is a girl simply known as Luz.
