After being pulled off of Paramount+, Star Trek: Prodigy was saved by Netflix after a vigorous fan campaign. The animated series is aimed primarily at children with an all-ages appeal, and it introduces a number of new characters and species to Gene Roddenberry's universe. The cast of characters on Star Trek: Prodigy is a wonderful mix of both new and familiar characters. The connections to the past -- both big and small -- can lead new viewers to discover the legacy stories that have helped Star Trek continue for almost 60 years.
