The 76th Emmy Awards Nominations have been announced and Shogun has led the way with 25 nominations, The Bear has set a new record in a single year in the Comedy Category with 23, and Fallout and X-Men '97 have both scored big nods.

The 2024 Emmy Awards will broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, September 15, and many will tune in to see how many categories Shogun will win. Alongside Outstanding Drama Series, Shogun is also up for Casting for a Drama Series, Cinematography for a Series, Period Costumes for a Series, Directing for a Drama Series, Picture Editing for a Drama Series, Main Title Design, Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Writing for a Drama Series, and so many more.

As for The Bear, no comedy series has ever had more nominations before, and the FX series will be going for the win in Outstanding Comedy Series and other categories in production design, casting, cinematography, directing, acting, and writing.

There were plenty of other shows with more than 10 nominations, including Only Murders in the Building, True Detective: Night Country, The Crown, Saturday Night Live, Fallout, Hacks, The Morning Show, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fargo, Ripley, Baby Reindeer, Palm Royale, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, and Lessons in Chemistry.

While The Last of Us TV show won multiple times at 2023's Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Fallout will have 16 chances to become the first live-action video game adaptation to win an Emmy in the main show.

Lastly, we wanted to shout out X-Men '97 for its nomination in Outstanding Animation Program, especially after we gave its first season a 9/10 and said it "isn't just a fitting continuation of X-Men: The Animated Series, but one of the best adaptations ever of this iconic Marvel franchise."
