Fall Of X hit Krakoa like a ton of bricks. X-Men: The Hellfire Gala #1 completely broke the power of Krakoa and resulted in multiple deaths, making the X-Men's nation a thing of the past. After Professor X surrendered to Doctor Stasis, most of its population was taken by Orchis. Many important X-Men, like Rogue, Emma Frost, Wolverine, Cyclops, and Kate Pryde survived, but they are at their lowest ebb. The team also suffered two very big losses, as Iceman and Jean Grey were both specifically targeted for assassination by Orchis.
