As part of its Prime Day Event, Amazon currently has the 2022 Hisense U6HF 58" 4K QLED Fire TV for only $349.99 or the 50" 4K QLED Fire TV for $299.99. That's a hefty $220-$250 price drop. You need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of this deal, though, and you'll want to act quickly as today is the last day for Prime Day deals.
Prime Day Deal: Hisense U6H 58" 4K QLED Fire TV for $349.99 or 50" 4K QLED Google Fire TV for $299.99
The Hisense U6HF is a 2022 TV model that offers a lot of features for a 58" TV at the sub-$400 price point. This TV boasts a quantum dot display (QLED) with a full-array LED-backlit panel with local area dimming and wide color gamut (ULED). The QLED panel enables this TV to retain strong color accuracy and good dynamic range even at peak brightness levels. The local dimming feature allows different zones to dim or brighten independently of each other, thus allowing the TV to handle scenes where the brightest whites and the darkest blacks occur simultaneously.
Despite the fact that this TV doesn't have a native 120Hz panel, the Hisense U6H is still a good gaming TV. It has very low input lag, VRR (variable refresh rate), and ALLM (auto low latency mode). The fact that it has these features at this price is pretty impressive and you'll definitely have to pay at least a few hundred dollars more for a 120Hz panel.
Unlike the standard Hisense U6H model that uses Google TV, the U6HF model has Fire TV built-in, I personally prefer the Fire TV interface over Google TV, and it's a better fit for those of you who are already used to the Alexa/Echo ecosystem.
