Blue Beetle is the latest DC live-action movie to hit theaters, and it's ironically a film with the most riding on it. Though meant to be a somewhat standalone film, it currently exists in a sort of limbo between the DC Extended Universe and the upcoming rebooted DC Universe. Thankfully, fans of Jaime Reyes can look forward to seeing his origin story played out in a movie that pleases audiences regardless of which continuity it's set in.
