Live-action Star Wars projects continue to bring in characters who got their start in animation, from Zeb Orellios to Cad Bane. It's a model working for Lucasfilm, yet there's still more potential. 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of The Clone Wars, starting with Genndy Tartakovsky's micro-series. That makes it all the more fitting that Ahsoka's fifth episode went one step further than past projects by bringing The Clone Wars animated series to life with Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker and a young Ahsoka Tano, played by Barbie star Ariana Greenblatt. For the first time, audiences saw Anakin interact with Ahsoka in live-action, which was exclusive to animation for over a decade.
