Star Wars: Droids offers a fascinating window into a time period of Star Wars that long preceded the prequel trilogy. Airing in 1985, just two years after the release of Return of the Jedi, Droids was a Saturday morning cartoon that allowed fans craving new Star Wars content an opportunity to dip back into their favorite franchise for 20 minutes at a time.
